Welcome to the Belmont Beach and Aquatics Center (BBAC) Project website. Browse through the pages of this site and you will find valuable information about the exciting vision for this new facility, current events and historic images that trace the heritage of Long Beach aquatics.

The former pool facility will be replaced with a new aquatic facility that will include pools for recreation, teaching, and competition. A concession area will be included in the design.

The project goals include:

• Provide community aquatic space for both teaching and recreation.
• Provide aquatic competition and practice space for swimming, diving and water polo.
• Maximize the use of this prime beachfront location by fostering access and a sense of civic presence.
